Bible Study #11- Put no other God before Him---He gets really jealous

I want to start out by saying welcome back to the bible study blog post sponsored by EBH Ministries. It is a blessing as always from the throne room of God that I can assemble with you. I am so excited to deliver to you tonight my meditation in hopes that the Lord speaks a word directly to you. But, before we begin I want to pray as always to acknowledge our Father who art in heaven.

Dear Lord, Our Creator, and the Mastermind of our existence. We humble ourselves before you and We lay every weight aside. We ask that if we have done anything wrong against you that you would forgive us of our sins, iniquities, and our trespasses. We ask that you clean and purge us of all unrighteousness for your namesake, that we might be living vessels of your holy doctrine. We offer ourselves to you as living sacrifices, and we lay side every sin that so easily besets us. We offer the fruits of our lips to you in praise and thanksgiving, and we thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His unfailing Love toward Us. We give you all the glory and honor in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Tonight!!Tonight, I want to give you this word. And the Lord has me excited because as the title reads that He is a jealous God, please know that that is an accurate assessment. Last week, we talked about the mysteries of God, and you have to know that the Lord is well pleased when we acknowledge Him. It satisfies His holiness when we exalt His name, and lift Him above all things. And the reason this is the truth of God is because He takes sole ownership in our creation. He gives no other creation credit for what He has done, and He makes note of it in His living word. You have to know, and I am included that the potential of His power goes outside of our imagination. We can not conceptualize who God is really because we were only created in His image and likeness. You have to be comparable to Him in order to determine the dimensions of His holiness, and because there isn't another comparable to Him there is no clear way to determine the true scope of His power. We are out of His league, we can't even withstand His glory, which is why He told Moses that no one can see Him and live. This is only parts of our understanding because we can't even numerical calculate how that would be possible. Meaning Him being God, not permitting or granting someone life after seeing Him in totality. There aren't scriptures written to help us to generate a thought pertaining to the matter, which makes Him a powerful God.

And this is the main reason why He describes His self as jealous. He tells you that He will visit the iniquity of the father from the third and fourth generation. He tells us what He will do because there is no one that can contest Him. Who are you going to go get? Who will tell on the Almighty God that would cause Him to relent once He has sat Himself against you? There is no one. And even when the people sat out to make graven images of false gods to worship instead of Him; they are using the resources from the earth that He created......WOW!!! I believe Him when He says that He is a jealous God. Do you? Come back next week, and let's finish the discussion. EBH
