Bible Study #11- Put no other God before Him---He gets really jealous
I want to start out by saying welcome back to the bible study blog post sponsored by EBH Ministries. It is a blessing as always from the throne room of God that I can assemble with you. I am so excited to deliver to you tonight my meditation in hopes that the Lord speaks a word directly to you. But, before we begin I want to pray as always to acknowledge our Father who art in heaven.
Dear Lord, Our Creator, and the Mastermind of our existence. We humble ourselves before you and We lay every weight aside. We ask that if we have done anything wrong against you that you would forgive us of our sins, iniquities, and our trespasses. We ask that you clean and purge us of all unrighteousness for your namesake, that we might be living vessels of your holy doctrine. We offer ourselves to you as living sacrifices, and we lay side every sin that so easily besets us. We offer the fruits of our lips to you in praise and thanksgiving, and we thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His unfailing Love toward Us. We give you all the glory and honor in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Tonight!!Tonight, I want to give you this word. And the Lord has me excited because as the title reads that He is a jealous God, please know that that is an accurate assessment. Last week, we talked about the mysteries of God, and you have to know that the Lord is well pleased when we acknowledge Him. It satisfies His holiness when we exalt His name, and lift Him above all things. And the reason this is the truth of God is because He takes sole ownership in our creation. He gives no other creation credit for what He has done, and He makes note of it in His living word. You have to know, and I am included that the potential of His power goes outside of our imagination. We can not conceptualize who God is really because we were only created in His image and likeness. You have to be comparable to Him in order to determine the dimensions of His holiness, and because there isn't another comparable to Him there is no clear way to determine the true scope of His power. We are out of His league, we can't even withstand His glory, which is why He told Moses that no one can see Him and live. This is only parts of our understanding because we can't even numerical calculate how that would be possible. Meaning Him being God, not permitting or granting someone life after seeing Him in totality. There aren't scriptures written to help us to generate a thought pertaining to the matter, which makes Him a powerful God.
And this is the main reason why He describes His self as jealous. He tells you that He will visit the iniquity of the father from the third and fourth generation. He tells us what He will do because there is no one that can contest Him. Who are you going to go get? Who will tell on the Almighty God that would cause Him to relent once He has sat Himself against you? There is no one. And even when the people sat out to make graven images of false gods to worship instead of Him; they are using the resources from the earth that He created......WOW!!! I believe Him when He says that He is a jealous God. Do you? Come back next week, and let's finish the discussion. EBH

Bible Study # 10- The Mysteries of God... continue
I want to welcome you back to EBH Ministries Bible Study Blog Post. It is a blessing as always to share in the word of God with you. However, if this is your first time here I want to say welcome. I want to take out the time tonight to make sure that we are in a quiet place where there are no distractions, so that we can get a new understanding tonight. Last week we talked about the mysteries of God concerning His creations, and I want to continue there, but as always let's pray.
Amen.
Okay, well I want to discuss several things that has been laying on my heart concerning the things of God. And one area specifically relates to how He arrives at the root of a situation regardless of the other factors surrounding it. Let me break it down...when the Almighty God created the heavens and the earth He created a man. And this man He placed in the garden of Eden. This man sinned against the perfect nature of God, and caused God to curse the entire earth. This man caused everything that would come after him to experience the side of God that resulted in judgment. He caused the entire human race to fall subject to the imperfections that existed outside of the Garden of Eden, where God was faithful to the man. And because the man was not content with God's faithfulness, He created a place of uncertainty where the man would now have to work through faith to retrieve God's faithfulness once again.
When I think of God faithfulness I think of it in the same context of having a need. When a need presents itself, we activate God's faithfulness concerning us. When a need arises it invokes God's faithfulness because He doesn't permit us to have needs when we are in His presence. When we are in His presence; the only thing that we come subject to are the things that we want. The bible teaches us that He has supplied all of our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. This simply means that God through His Son Jesus has supplied all of our needs. He has given us enough as He did the Israelites so that we can journey through Him, and learn of His ways until we reach the land of Goshen, where the struggles that existed in the wilderness are no longer pervalent. He wants us to live in the land of Goshen knowing of Him through are experiences in the wilderness toiling, so that we do not get besides ourselves in the land of Goshen. Which makes Him so powerful because even though the people of Israel experienced hardships in Egypt; they were to travel back to the Garden of Eden, where they were to be appreciative to their living God, the God of Israel. But, when we take a stance against Him, He takes us back through the fiery furance to make us through again, so that we understand through brokenness that He is the Living God, and that He created us. And that He is a jealous God visiting the inquity of the father from the third and fourth generation.....How amazing is our God?
This is so heavy that I don't think that I can deliver any more tonight. I want you to think on these things a little more in your own private time with God. Think how He can use you to straighten out your whole family. Think how He gets to the root, and you could very much so be the root. Think on this a little while...well until the next time He purpose for us to meet. I will see you next week. EBH
